yeah, news the other day said that they found cecilia, poor kid. I really wish the media would leave her parents alone. Their kid was just found dead and everyone wants a sounbite, assholes......
Also pissed off cause I'm not allowed to go on my field trip tomorrow, was gonna go downtown on a massive shopping spree but NOOOOOO, can't do that!! Stupid lack of funding for buses. I really wanted to go shopping too, I still have yet to buy my tux for prom.........
On a lighter note I'm probably gonna go get my tattoo done sometime next week, got all my money sorted out finally. Currently resisting the urge to spend all my university money on shopping.....really I'm gonna resist...........okay so I'm not I'll probably go on a massive shopping spree in the near future but oh well!!
Spent the entire bloody weekend at a fundraiser for my trip to england this summer. The girl guides hired us out to do the catering for an event, we had to make lunch. I had to make sandwhiches. 600 of them. Buttered with toppings and all of them de-crusted and cut into the little bite sized triangles......all I have to say is this trip had better be worth it.....
it most likely will be though......we did all the final planning for where exactly we're gonna go while we're there. This is the itinerary so far:
France:
The lourve (not sure how to spell that.....)
The arc de triumph
The eiffel tower (duh! who would go to paris and not go there?)
The chanz de lizes (really not sure how to spell that one....)
Versailles
Oh, and shopping of course!!
Next is a couple of small towns in England, Buxton, York and Manchester. Basically these are all places we went to last time that we want to see again because there are friends there we want to visit. Get to see one opf my best friends whom I haven't seen in about 7 years, really happy about that!! We grew up together in the Emirates and have actually kept in touch....scary.....
Next is, dun dun dun da!!! LONDON!!!!!
i love this town, it's soooo much fun. We're gonna do the hop on hop off tour around to see all the sights, we're alwo gonna go on the Jack the Rippre tour, supposed to be really entertaining. The London Dungeon is a possibility as well, but the big highlight of the england trip is going to the tower of London and Buckingham palace and GOING INSIDE TO MEET THE QUEEN!!!!!! there are times when I really love the advantages of being a girl guide, this is one of them! Last time we got int the palace while one of our leaders had tea with the queen, now it's our turn!!
Next is scotland. Staying in Edinburough castle and going to see stonehenge, so cool. After that the rest of the girls are flying home to canada while I fly to whales to meet my family for another three weeks!
The real downside to this trip is a) that we're walking and backpacking a good chunk of the trip, lots to carry. and b) we have to wear uniforms and girl guide clothes the entire bloody trip......except for when we go dancing and pub hopping. Me and 3 others are the only ones old enough to do this so we're gonna have a hell of a time!!
That's it I guess, holy shit this is a long post.....I can really ramble on......oh well!!
