Urg, got back from prom last night, though I guess it's technically this morning.....oh well. So much fun!! Everyone (with the exception of taryn and season who looked like lampshades) looked amazing. I wasn't the only girl not wearing a dress but I WAS the only girl in a tux. I must say, pants make it much easier to dance than tripping over the hem of my stupid pouffy skirt like I did last year.
It was also interesting to have the whole group of us there. Nikki was really unique in that her outfit was the only one not involving some shade of red. She wore a purple dress with a black gauzy overdress, looked V cool. Vicki was in a red long dress that she made, looked amazing, the shoes were like something out of the wizard of oz, minus the sequins. Brandon, Nic and Jon all wore tuxes. Brandon cleans up well, Jon looked like a priest, forcing Nikki to ask him: "where's the little boy who goes with your costume?" Noodle was the princess of the group, ling gold dress, tiara and alot of sparkles. Erin's dress was incredible too, it was long and blue and amazing. Hard to describe but she looked great!! Jenn was dressed in a corset style lace up black and grey dress, she really pulled that off well!!
The music was also a WHOLE lot better than last year, one of the opening songs was "Thriller" by michael jackson, sooooo much fun to dance to!!! There was alot of 80's stuff there. When they started playing bohemien raphsody the entire school started singing along to it!! ::giggles:: sooooo funny!! I was amazed that Jon and Valair actually cut loose and had fun dancing, Jon can actually dance too. Brandon and Kyle are both really good dancers, they DEFINITELY had fun!!
One bad thing tho, noelle informed me that the hotel, the renaissance toronto airport (never going there again, HORRIBLE service.) is trying to charge her for an extra 2 hotel rooms with no justification whatsoever. Stupid bastards. Must kill them now. Who's with me?
