Okay, there are times when i think our society would be better off without computers and modern technology. Oh, yes I see the hypocricy of posting this in an online journal, but still. So much of our lives are wrapped up in machines. They dictate our schedules, our limitations. They can give us knowlege or cause us so much trouble that you want to toss them out the window for some peace.
People all have some kind off base desire to get back to nature too, whether it's camping out once a year or putting the backgrounds of our computers to a nice nature scene.
Reason for this moment of contemplation? My palm pilot crashed, taking with it all the phone numbers and addresses of everyone i know, as well as information and notes that i really wish i had backed up. I think i'll start writing more things down from now on.
