    I sit outside and let the rain erase my tears
    If only those storms could erase all my fears.
    Why can't I ever wake up from this dream?
    A nightmare world where nothing is ever what it seems.
    But you can't feel pain in dreams, now can you?
    Which means that all this must be real.
    So I don't let anyone see what is true.
    Just smile and laugh, just hide what I feel.

    The whole world wears a mask,
    beauty that hides anger and pain.
    But when the mask fails me
    I sit alone in the rain.
