Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
These are in no particular order...
1. Snuggling with the puppy. How can you be depressed with a fuzzy puppy who loves you curled up at your feet?
2. Hot chocolate or tea. Something about having a big pot of either next to me and being able to wrap my hands around a mug calms me right down.
3. Talking to cursive. She can coax a smile or a laugh out of me in just a few lines of text and change my entire outlook on a situation or a day.
4. Music. I always have music playing in the background, anything but rap helps.
5. Coding. Haha, bring on the geek comments but the puzzle of it helps me work off stress.
6. Reading (duh) just about anything I can get my hands on is in danger of being consumed.
7. Swimming. Water. Immersion. Sunshine. Happy.
8. Watching a good movie, even if I've seen it a thousand times before, the older, the better.
9. Calling beej and bugging her. I do it all the time. Hence why she's threatened to put a bounty on my head more than once.
10. Getting a haircut or a new piercing. I seem to do that any time I really need to blow off some steam.
