So, saw a new preview for the movie Mirrormask based on the book written by Neil Gaiman. Didn't get a chance to see it in theatres due to having no time and no life, but it comes out next week on DVD so it all balances out.
As a result of seeing the movie I knuckled down and actually started to finish the new layout for the blog that I've been fiddling with for the past couple of months. It's based on some of the illustrations from the book and movie and some of his past work thrown in for good measure. I actually realised it's been almost a year since I've actually made any changes to the blog so it's about bloody time. I used to change the layout every 3 months after I figured out coding, but I've been lazy lately.
Also in Neil Gaiman related news, the movie Stardust is due to start filming soon, very cool that we get so many movies form the guy lately. Cannot wait to see the cast list when it's released and see who they got for it.
Hmmm, 2 of my favourite authors, Jaqueline Carey and Lynn Flewelling . Carey is doing the fourth book in her Kushiel series, Kushiel's Scion. Lynn Flewelling is finally finishing her Bone Dolol trilogy with The Oracle's Queen. Both coming out around June.... but still!! Good books again, finally!
Last night Stargate reached new heights of blatant fanservice by having 18n multiple dimensional teams of SG-1 in the SGC all at one time and sticking 18 Samantha Carter's in one room with 1 Martouf (Weird tokra whom Sam had a crush on). It was.... interesting to see the look on his face when he walked into the room. Also brought back Janet, was interesting and horribly schmoopy to see her again. Multiple Mitchell's = Bad Inside Jokes consisting of 2 or 3 words that I'm not sure even the Mitchell's understood. All in all, amusing epi.... I still miss Jack though....
That's all I guess, back to working through the massive piles of crap that adorn my desk, also known as my job, but still.
