Kinda older news seeing as it happened on Friday, but I spent most of the following weekend drunk off my ass and the last 2 days jobhunting. So... yeah. I lost my job.
Boss pulled me into the office, told me that he had sold half the company, and part of the terms to doing so was to cut payroll costs so me and 4 other people got layed off.
It will honestly be kind of interesting to see what he's gonna do to fill my position, seeing as I was already handling additional work from one woman who's on maternity leave and from one of my useless co-workers who spent about 95% of her time in work stoned off her ass playing games on the internet (Note: She did not get fired, being friends with the bosses daughter is apparently a more redeeming quality than actually being able to do your job.)
But yeah, the job hunt so far sucks, and I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do.
