Was trying to distract myself from all the funeral and family stuff, and ran across this on twitter. Honestly, I gap out for a week and this is what happens?

KT, I don't know if you already saw this, (you likely did as I tend to be a bit behind), but: Oh my gods, it's The Big Gay Battle of The Internet.

A little joking polled award for Gay Man Of The Decade on AfterElton got a weeeee bit out of control when the internets got involved in everything. Neil Patrick Harris (Dr Horrible) VS. John Barrowman (Capt. Jack Harkness). One measly tweet and everything went haywire.

Between Neil Gaiman, Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion and pretty much anyone else who had ever worked with the two stars getting involved with Twitter, Blogs and even interviews, the battle was on.

The prize in this epic showdown? A T-shirt. (Aparently they were on a budget)

The votes were tallied, and when the dust settled, NPH came out on top (heh) of John Barrowman. In the eternal words of NPH: "Suit up!" This deserves a little celebration!
