    So, spent pretty much all of Sunday the the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibit. Very very sunny and hot and Mere is a little toasty even after slathering on copious amounts of sunscreen. V. Bad

    Kat, however, is awesome as sales were good and she won an award at the show!! Very happy for her as she deserves this quite a bit after working her ass to the bone all year. She even gave me a portrait she'd done of me as a gift for helping her move all the stuff to and from the show.

    All my comics arrived today, the cumulation of a couple of different orders and people returning stuff they'd borrowed ages ago, so now I have no where to put anything and no clue what to do with all this.

    Now I shall go immerse myself in comics for the next few hours

    ..:Conventions and Comics and Movies, Fuck Yeah!:..

    OK, first off: am likely going to skip out on Anime North this year. I know, I know, breaking a decade of tradition. But honestly? The only real reason to go to the con is the dealers room and artist alley, and with the 55 bucks you pay to get in, not really feeling the need to go anymore. It's more like the Y-TV con now anyway, very upset.

    On the other hand, am going to attend Toronto Trek again this year. Why? Because the guest stars are Cliff fucking Simon (Ba'al from Stargate) and Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto from Torchwood) Also, the con, despite being over 20 years old, still has the feeling of an actual old fashioned con and not a sell-out con like North.

    Other good news though, the next 4 years? Are gonna be freaking awesome for movies:

    Also? They've announced the Silver Surfer and the Venom movies, but haven't given out a release date yet.

    But still, we're getting pretty much 4 or 5 kickass movies a year, I love that geekdom is mainstream now, this is fucking awsome

    Well, it's official. Boy Meets Boy, an online comic that has run for many of years and entertained hundreds of rabid fangirls.......is over. Sandra ended the comic today, much to the dismay of many of her fans, but the show must go on! And so it is, she now has a new series labeled "Friendly Hostility's" featuring colin and fox as 2 of the characters. Oh, and vampires, something about vampires...........anyway, I have a huge project due first thing monday morning so I suppose I should probably actually do something........maybe.......Also, Gaia is down so there's no real point in being online anyway.
