Have I mentioned recently how very very happy I am that we live on the second floor now? Anyone who was in our last apartment can probably remember it well, crooked walls, lumpy bumpy floors and cracks you can fit your hand through tend to make an impression.
Also? There's the fact that we moved out in January, it's now May and still no one lives there as it was declared unsafe and seriously structually damaged so no one elso is ALLOWED to live there till Chris gets it fixed.
But our new building has it's own quirks, namely the water. Which goes hot and cold, and sometimes even on and off at it's own will. Like this morning, am very happy we didn't take another bottom floor apartment as the water main burst last night and now we have no water. At all. I have work in 3 hours and just got back from the gym, they had better fucking fix this FAST.
